As we’ve previously made you aware, Act 947 that states “A home inspector is required to carry a professional liability insurance policy or an errors and omissions insurance policy approved by the State Insurance Department for the home inspections performed by the home inspector,” goes into effect August 5, 2025.
If you have not done so already, please submit a new Certificate of Insurance reflecting you have a professional liability policy in effect. Please remember, we need a Certificate of Insurance, not a copy of your policy or declarations page.
Please verify the insurance company is registered to do business in Arkansas by using the link below that’s been provided by the Arkansas Insurance Department.
