LITTLE ROCK, AR — The Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing (ADLL) today announced the integration of Tyler Technologies’ Augmented Field Operations platform—powered by ARInspect – into its regulatory inspection programs. This marks a significant leap forward in the Department’s mission to enhance efficiency, safety, and oversight through advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
The new system automates many aspects of field operations, including risk profiling, site prioritization, route optimization, and instant reporting. By replacing outdated, manual processes with AI-driven workflows, ADLL is not only streamlining its inspections but also scaling operations to a previously unachievable degree.
“This is a demonstration of innovation that reflects our commitment to smarter, safer, and more accountable government,” said Daryl Bassett, Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing. “By embracing cutting-edge technology, we’re ensuring that our inspectors can spend more time in the field where it counts – protecting Arkansans.”
The platform’s intelligent scheduling tools, automated compliance checklists, and real-time reporting capabilities have reduced the average inspection time from several hours to just 10–15 minutes. These advances allow field teams to complete more visits in less time, without sacrificing accuracy or thoroughness.
“This is not just an upgrade in technology – it’s a transformation in how we operate,” said Ken Anderson, Chief Information Officer at ADLL. “By integrating Tyler’s platform into our inspection workflows, we’re improving transparency, empowering inspectors with data-driven tools, and reinforcing our role as a proactive protector of public safety.”
The Augmented Field Operations platform includes a mobile interface for field inspectors, a centralized administrative dashboard, and a self-service portal for regulated entities—all designed to increase productivity, reduce redundancy, and enhance constituent communication.
ADLL plans to phase the system into several of its licensing and compliance programs over the coming months, with a full rollout anticipated by early next year.
