Surveyor Law A.C.A §17-48-101 et. seq. amended – Effective August 5, 2025

The Arkansas 95th General Assembly Act 99 of 2025 amends the surveyor law by adding A.C.A. §17-48-305. Surveyor entry onto a commercial poultry farm. This amendment establishes new requirements for surveyors entering or working adjacent to a commercial poultry farm. A “commercial poultry farm” is defined as a poultry operation with a poultry house or poultry houses of more than 5,000 square feet. The surveyor is required to notify the owner of the commercial poultry farm before entering and follow all protocols, including biosecurity measures required by the commercial poultry farm at the time of access. The statute is effective August 5, 2025. Act 99 of 2025
